In a tailoring shop the measurements are the capital. A lost card or a misread number means a garment cut again from new fabric.
Measurements kept for every customer
- A measurement set per garment type: length, shoulder, chest, waist, sleeve, neck and more, with the date taken.
- The next order uses the last measurements without asking the customer again.
- Style notes and design photos attached to the order.
From order to delivery
Each order records the garment, the fabric (from the shop or the customer's own), the promised date and the deposit. Fitting appointments are recorded with the changes requested, urgent orders appear first, and a cutting sheet is printed for the workshop. Fabric issued to an order leaves the stock in metres.
Work per tailor
Each piece is assigned to a cutter, sewer or embroiderer, so you know who is late and how many pieces each one finished in the month.
