Patient records kept at least ten years (Patient Data Act)

Licensed psychologists and other mental health professionals keep patient records and must issue a certificate of the care on the patient's request. A correction must show when it was made and who made it, and each record document must be kept for at least ten years after the last entry was made in it; the government or the authority it appoints may require some records to be kept longer.
