Treatment records (Civil Code § 630f)

Dentists, like everyone who provides treatment, must keep a treatment record on paper or electronically, close in time to the treatment, with the findings, diagnoses, treatments and consent. Corrections must leave the original content and the time of the change visible. The record is kept for ten years after the treatment ends, unless other rules set other periods.
